Position Description
On a daily basis, insolvency accountants are presented with an exciting variety of work, both in and out of the office. Our teams are exposed to interesting matters from day one, with a diverse range of responsibilities across their roles. As a Graduate Insolvency Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work across a range of tasks in areas including, but not limited to:
- Dealing with Assets;
- Liaising with creditors;
- Trading businesses;
- Conducting investigations;
- Distributing dividends.
Job Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, law, or similar;
- The drive to build a career in the specialised and sometimes challenging area of insolvency;
- Desire to commence CA/CPA qualifications;
- A strong foundation in the Microsoft Office Suite;
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships through strong interpersonal skills;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders, often during difficult situations;
- Proven time management skills with exceptional attention to detail;
- An understanding of relevant legislation and its application.
