Position Description
Are you a passionate and detail-oriented individual looking to grow your career in Human Resources? We are looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources Officer to join our team!
Initially, the role of HR Officer will focus on recruitment before expanding into the HR generalist space. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to HR initiatives and employee engagement – all under the guidance of a supportive HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment nationally;
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding process;
- Engage with student bodies at universities and attend career events to promote our company;
- Point of contact for general HR enquiries and assist the team in maintaining accurate employee files and an HRIS;
- Assist the HR Manager across a range of HR initiatives and tasks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree / diploma in HR Management or a minimum of 2 years’ HR work experience – if you’re passionate about HR and willing to learn, we want to hear from you;
- Excellent communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence;
- Ability to collaborate with the HR Manager and work independently to deliver outcomes;
- A positive attitude and the hunger to build a career in HR;
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines;
- Open to points of view that differ to your own and the ability to be agile when required;
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
