West End’s Renowned Billykart Restaurant owned by partners
Chef Ben O’Donoghue and Ben Roberts for Sale
SV Partners appointed Administrators 20 April 2023
On 20th April 2023, the directors of Billykart West End appointed Terry Rose and Anne Meagher of SV Partners as Voluntary Administrators with a view to selling the business through a structured process.
Billykart is an institution in the Brisbane dining scene and has been a favourite of Brisbane locals since it’s opening in 2015.
The SV Partners team are focused on continuing trade as normal at the West End restaurant throughout the Voluntary Administration and are working collaboratively with the owners to achieve a positive outcome for the business, its employees, and all stakeholders.
Mr O’Donoghue and Mr Roberts cite the demanding last few years navigating Covid lockdowns and associated challenges as wells a desire to spend more time with family and create a better work life balance as the main reasons for the sale.
They wish to see the business transition to new ownership in a timely and structured manner with minimum disruption and the highest likelihood of continuing to build on its impressive reputation as a celebrated dining experience into the future.

The restaurant remains open and operating as normal and Billykart’s loyal patrons are encouraged to continue to support the restaurant as it trades through the administration process.
