Joshua is a Director of SV Partners, providing a broad range of services throughout the areas of Northern New South Wales, Newcastle, Central Coast and Sydney.

Joshua is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Practising Accountant, Registered Liquidator and Trustee in Bankruptcy, with significant experience having been involved with a number of successful reconstruction and turnaround exercises across a wide range of industries. 

With over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency administrations, Joshua brings a professional and compassionate attitude to his work, providing expert knowledge and understanding to his clients. Joshua has been involved with a number of successful reconstruction and turnaround exercises, including Registered Clubs and the preparation of Expert Reports to be used as evidence before the Federal Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Joshua has been regularly appointed as Trustee for Sale under Section 66G of the Conveyancing Act 1919 (NSW) and recently appointed Trustee for Sale under Section 70 of the Trustee Act 1925 (NSW).

In 2017, Joshua was appointed the Regional Chairperson of the Newcastle and Hunter Chapter of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, providing support and training to local members and those currently undertaking the Chartered Accountants Program. In 2021, Joshua was appointed the NSW Chairperson of the Regional Country Chairs Committee of Chartered Accounts Australia and New Zealand.

In 2019, Joshua was awarded the 2019 NSW Young Regional Advocate Award in recognition of his significant contribution to Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the Profession. Joshua was also a finalist in the 2019 President’s Award that recognises a Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand member aged under 35 who has made an outstanding commitment to the accounting profession and used their skills to serve the local community.

Since 2021, Joshua served as the Newcastle/Hunter representative of the NSW/ACT Divisional Committee of the Australian Restructuring and Turnaround Association, having formally been appointed to the Committee in 2024. Joshua is also an ARITA representative for new Liquidator and Bankruptcy Trustee application interview and disciplinary panels.

Joshua has presented as various ARITA Conferences, facilitates the ARITA Advance Certification Workshops and regularly presents at University Lectures on the practical implications of insolvency and reconstruction.

In addition to his role as an Insolvency Practitioner, Joshua is a Board Member and Chairperson of a number of Not-for-Profit Organisations.
